The Prophetic Worship Center - Ft. Lauderdale church was pleased to welcome, to the pulpit, Bishop Leroy York on September 3, 2009. We were blessed by his message on the revelations of God to His people. Thank you Bishop York.
A Revelation
Jesus asked the disciples who do people say I am? (Matt. 16:13-20) It was only by revelation Peter was able to answer, "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." - Matthew 16:16 ( KJV )

Jesus response was because of this revelation I will give you the keys of the kingdom. It is the central truth that Jesus is the Son of God, the first fruit, and the resurrection life that gives the believers the power and dominion we have today. The purpose of Christ is to give life abundantly to all who would accept him. The presence of Christ is the power and authority imparted into the believer by the Holy Spirit.

As disciples we also must come to the revelation of who Jesus is. What his purpose is and the power he has placed within us. This revelation can only be understood fully by the mature believer. The word of God says, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (2Pet. 1:3-4) As Christians we must continue to grow in Christ until we reach the stature of full grown sons and daughters. The Body of Christ must work together towards full revelation of Jesus Christ, His person, purpose and power.
